SlimGreens is the only green powder available with the following characteristics:
(1) All ingredients are normal components of a healthy human diet. It is a proprietary blend of powdered extracts of carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, parsley, kale, tomato, blueberry, cherry, cranberry, cinnamon, turmeric and sea vegetables. Most other green powders are loaded with powdered grasses, which are not normal components of the human diet and not readily digested or absorbed by people.
(2) SlimGreens contains no alfalfa. Alfalfa (seeds, sprouts and grass) contains a unique amino acid called canavanine, which promotes autoimmune disease in laboratory experiments. Enriching the diet with alfalfa has been shown to increase the incidence of colon cancer in animals that were fed a cancer-promoting chemical, the opposite effect of other vegetables or sources of fiber, which protect against cancer. Our goal in developing SlimGreens was to provide an alfalfa-free green drink. SlimGreens is a convenient, nutrient-rich, mild tasting green drink to supplement The Fat Resistance Diet.
